Terms & Conditions of Booking

A booking is confirmed by exchange of emails and the payment of a deposit. This represents a contract between the guest and the owner. The guest who confirms the booking agrees to take full responsibility for ensuring that the following Terms and Conditions are adhered to by all members of the party.

Payment Terms

A deposit of 20% is payable to secure your booking. Upon receipt of the deposit the owner will confirm your booking by email. The balance of the rental is payable 4 weeks before arrival. Guests are requested to make payments by bank transfer (BACS). Where BACS cannot be used PayPal may be used by prior agreement. The owner does not accept payment by credit or debit card. For bookings made within 4 weeks of arrival, the full rental is payable at the time of booking. If the balance payment is not received by the due date, the owner is entitled to cancel the booking and the deposit will not be refunded.

Cancellation by Guest

If you wish to cancel your holiday, please advise the owner by email as soon as possible, so that the owner can endeavour to re-let the property.

For cancellations within 4 weeks of arrival where we are unable to re-let, the full charge will be payable, unless otherwise agreed.

The owner does not offer travel or cancellation insurance. It is recommended that guests should make their own insurance arrangements as they see fit.
