How to find Clippie Lodge

Coming from Aberdeen by car on the A93 takes approximately an hour or so. It is a direct route.

You can cycle the 45 miles from Aberdeen, much of it on the Old Railway Line and The Deeside Line. I would advise you check the route beforehand as there can be parts blocked off for repair and upgrade from time to time.

There is also a bus service, check the Stage Coach bus timetable on the Stage Coach website for times.

Coming from the Braemar side, the journey from Perth is about 1hour 45 minutes on the A93. Beautiful scenery and a great drive.

Once into the village, Clippie Lodge is very easy to find. Coming from the Aberdeen side, go past the church (The Auld Kirk) on the green and its second on your left. The entrance to Clippie Lodge is first on your left. It is directly opposite the village fish and chip shop.

Coming from Braemar side, coming into the village you will go over small bridge and see the Old Royal railway station on your left, the entrance to Viewfield Road is directly opposite. There is paper shop on the corner. The entrance to Clippie Lodge is first on your left , directly opposite the village fish and chip shop.
